Local Church to Distribute Relief Supplies to Survivors of Southern Louisiana Flooding this Week

BATON ROUGE, La.. (September 1, 2016) — This weekend, volunteers in the Baton Rouge area will distribute relief supplies to 800 survivors of this month’s deadly flooding.

The distribution will take place Friday starting at noon at Antioch Full Gospel Baptist Church, 5247 Ford Street in Baton Rouge. The supplies, provided by World Vision include clothing, hygiene items and cleaning supplies.

“This community has been hit hard over the past few weeks,” said Antonio Evans, who will lead distribution efforts for World Vision. “We hope these supplies will begin to help families get through this difficult time, recover and rebuild their lives over the coming months.”
