Join the Challenge:
We can ease their suffering

Our project in the Luwingu District of Northern Zambia aims to reach more than 40,000 women and children under five. We have been challenged to raise $1.1 million by March 2020 through our Mother and Child Health Campaign to support this project.

Thanks to generous partners, we are over halfway toward our goal!…

Your support can help in these ways:

  • $100 can provide a Community Health Worker (CHW) with the clothing and supplies they need to do their jobs
  • $250 can provide 375 Rapid Diagnostic Tests (RDT) to instantly diagnose if children have malaria and need treatment
  • $500 can provide a Community Health Worker with a bicycle and essential health supplies
  • $1,500 can establish, train, and support two community-based mothers’ nutrition groups

By joining this challenge, you’re working shoulder to shoulder with women, children and Community Health Workers to save lives. You’re giving expecting mothers a place to turn for training and care. You’re equipping Community Health Workers to be a light in the communities they serve with the tools they need. Your gift tells mothers and children that they matter. They are valued.

Currently, World Vision has more than 220,000 Community Health Workers who serve millions of people in 48 countries, even in the hardest-to-reach places. Help us continue to equip and train them.

How Do Matching Gifts Help?

In 2017, World Vision’s work around the world was furthered by significant financial donations from corporations of more than $159 million in gift-in-kind donations and $13.1 million in cash grants, cause-marketing proceeds, workplace giving & matching gifts.

Your donations help bring emergency relief, clean water, food supplies, and much more to the world’s poorest communities. Your company can double this impact by matching your gift!
