What is the General Childcare Ministries Fund?

A contribution to World Vision's General Childcare Ministry Fund helps meet the extraordinary needs of non-sponsored children and families in areas too dangerous or unstable for sponsorship. This fund helps by providing things like emergency food, health care, education, clean water projects, agricultural assistance, housing and economic/community development. The fund assists World Vision in meeting its U.S. government grant commitments and responding quickly to emergencies and natural disasters and also supplements the sponsorship program. Through assistance from friends like you, World Vision is able to help meet these essential needs.
