For nearly 20 years, Bartell Drugs and Star 101.5 have partnered to provide school supplies and hygiene products to hundreds of thousands of local Washington State students through checkout donations and product drives.

As the impact of COVI D-19 grows across the U.S., World Vision is working closely with local partners and school districts to deliver essentials to the most vulnerable children and families.

Thanks to our critical partnership with Bartell’s and Star 101.5, World Vision is able to provide much needed school supplies and hygiene products to 70,000 local Western Washington Students. The donated supplies and monetary donations from Bartell’s and their generous customers addressed one of the communities’ greatest need for supplies in our 18-year partnership due to the pandemic.

”In our 18th year of School Tools, this may be the largest need ever experienced. Providing students with the resources to be the most effective to learn at home will look different. World Vision will be distributing donation kits to students across the King, Pierce and Snohomish counties. The items in these kits will include basic school supplies, PPE, personal care items and more. World Vision’s long-term relationships with I74 schools in our communities will allow your donation at Bartell’s to reach the children that need it the most.” – Michael Gillespie, Sr. Director at World Vision

Thank you, Bartell’s and Star 101.5! These donations will bring hope to those in greatest need.

In 2020, $171,017 was raised by Bartell’s at the cash registers in store! That is a 47% increase from last year!
