How being chosen works

First, sign up and submit your photo

Your name and photo will be sent to a community where local staff are preparing a time for kids to choose their sponsors. We’ll keep you updated about the choosing process via email!

Then a child will choose YOU

A child in need will see photos of people waiting to be chosen and one special child will choose your photo. Everyone who signs up is chosen.

Find out who chose you

You’ll soon get a photo of your new sponsored child holding YOUR photo, plus a letter about why you were chosen. You can strengthen the connection by writing back through the World Vision app or sending a letter.

How sponsorship helps

Your $39 monthly gift will combine with other sponsors’ gifts to show God’s love, helping kids and families get sustainable access to life’s basics. Then you’ll get regular updates on their progress. Research proves that kids benefit from sponsorship programs. Here are just a few ways:
